Accounting and Administrative Assistant

Accounting responsibilities include:

  • Full cycle accounts receivable: client invoicing/accounts receivable/deposits

  • Full cycle accounts payable: vendor invoices/accounts payable/payments

  • Preparation of employee expenses

  • Credit card reconciliations

  • Petty cash disbursement

  • Management of virtual filing system

  • Preparation of various tax returns

  • Other accounting tasks as required

Administrative responsibilities include:

  • Planning and ordering supplies for office use

  • Office maintenance and safety

  • Reception for guests and couriers

  • Mail distribution

  • Shipping and receiving (back-up)

  • Other administrative tasks as required


  • Solid knowledge of basic accounting (required)

  • Accounting experience: 2+ years (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma or relevant certification related to bookkeeping or accounting (preferred)

  • Full cycle accounting experience (preferred)

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop (preferred)

  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft 0365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and software

  • Knowledge of office management practices and procedures

  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to manage time, prioritize, and work independently

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Embraces teamwork with a positive mindset
